Beautiful area. Ideal for Cheltenham
Nice place. Would be very beautiful in the summer. Was a little chillie when we were there. Old building with single glazing means a few drafts but had lost of fun by the warm fire. The place did have central heating.
Absolutely loved our stay. Taught a group watercolor painting "plein aire" perfect location for this - lots of beautiful scenery, the Manor house from "A Phantom Thread" to paint, other old stone buildings begging to be painted - lots of shade - will definitely be there again!
We attended a civil wedding ceremony at the venue. The location is historic and quite stunning to the senses. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Food was very good but not excellent and more effort could have been made to promote local produce. The cider press in the Tithe barn was imposing and impressive and I would have jumped at the chance of a pint of cider from there. The grounds were put to good use and a choice of lawn games were available. All in all, the Owlpen Manor hosted a memorable day.
Beautiful setting, very well equipped and quirky mill we stayed in. Only downside was the lack of showers - the shower head over the bath you had to hold up over you. With low water pressure made it difficult to wash. However, no complaints about the whole rest of the stay
