Shop here every week and find everything we need only moan I have is there is only 2 tills open and would be good to have self service tills for people with a few items as you can queue for ages sometimes but the staff have always been polite to us and never had any problems with the food at all.
We have been going here for 6 years on and off and the staff are always friendly and helpful.I like that they have some varied foids to choose from also, although some of the processed and tinned foods are really quite high in salt and sugar, so you would need to balance your health depending on how fresh you cook.
I'm not fond of the service, first of all. There's some very miserable, rude people working here and it seems that a great number of people share my complaint in a local Facebook group. But I'm also not fond of the food. If you know anything about supermarkets you'll know stores like Lidl get last picks and the lowest quality, which is why Lidl is cheaper. I've had awful meat, a pork joint covered in hair and prefer to pay more for better quality foods.
Been into store today generally the old staff were helpful and willing to get someone to help if they couldn't seems there is a relatively new female assistant manager I found her rude and unhelpful and unwilling to help resolve a situation it come to something when another customer has to help you ...what had happened to good old customer service obviously this part was missed in her training will not be shopping in there again shame as the other members of staff are pleasant and helpful
Love the prices however always out of stock with certain things I need. Every time I go they are stacking shelves so makes it hard to get down the aisles. I feel like I'm in the way. I think this should be done at closing time. Very messy in this Lidl compared to others.
