Small station with connections to Bristol, Cheltebham and Worcester

Is a lovely clean train-station and is perfect for commutes into Bristol. No HST trains stop here, as expected, but it is only a short half an hour ride to near by Bristol Parkway.

Such a good little station, although it's getting so busy! Trains aren't that regular and can get delayed but I would hate to lose it!

It could have more shelter and large seats not those lift up half seats which makes it very uncomfortable sitting for trains also deaf people or going deaf cannot hear trains times arrivals or which side to wait. But on the positive side it's it a well needed and very useful utility and some would be lost if not continued.NE

Situated in the picturesque heart of the Seven Vale is a suitable small train station with trains once or twice an hour to Bristol in the morning, less frequent during the day up until past 10pm. Hourly services to Gloucester from 8pm-10pm. Services run 7 days a week. There are no facilities for this surprisingly busy train station. Car park is free, but small. The road outside is not a suitable overflow. Plenty of lighting and CCTV make this a safe environment. The bus stop provides onward services to Dursley, Lower Cam and Stroud. Other facilities include payphone (card or coin), temperamental ticket machine where you can sometimes buy or collect tickets by card, covered bicycle park, covered waiting areas. It is a 20 minute walk to the centre of Cam. Nearest cash point and shop is at Shell Garage (about 10 minute walk). This station is handy for the Severn Vale including the world famous Slimbridge Wildfowl & Wetlands Centre, Severnside villages including Frampton on Severn, Arlingham and Berkeley, with its Castle and Edward Jenner Museum. Great golf courses on top of Stinchcombe Hill with impressive views across the valley as far as the Severn Bridge to the south, and the Welsh mountains to the west.
